This company

Management is amazing and are doing a heck of a job . For the share price to go unfortunately this company needs to be bought out. It boggles my mind how a company with an AAA management team, a permit,  1.03 billion npv, 240 million deal and q1 23 construction can be trading at these levels. Either all is long term share holders are dumb or the story isn't being told. But both those are nor true I think most of the comments here indicate that we have smart people here and the company has traveled all over north America telling the story. So what is it. The only thing is unfavorable market conditions, uncertainty on the Capex with inflation and the remainder of financing. All but one being out of management's control. Maybe management's precise execution has convinced Sibayne that thus is worth it and they will either take it out or buy back in with different clause than the original deal. I think that's the most likley scenario but who knows?

You ask who who knows, Sacks, I do. This price depreciation is 100% the result of short sellers. This has nothing to do with market discovery. There are market forces, but they are in the hands of short sellers. Look at the board, nearly every single trade is a short sale these days or a trade designed to assist the short sellers. Only retail buys are not short sales. There is nothing ...more

or maybe the market thinks this stock is a dog. you really think short sellers have the energy and time to 'manipulate' this full time to the degree you say ... all so they can make 87 dollars a day ?  look at the volume.

Why do you deny that I am right, timeoutofmind?  You know exactly that what I say is true.  All the pieces fits, my analysis is sound and the results and trading patterns speak for themselves.   Please put your analytical mind and look into what I am saying with a new eye and open mind. Look at the effect this same practice has had across the sector, find comparables and ...more

I can't believe this price either Sacks48. So much for my $1.90 today. This is .12 cents less than what I paid for my shares so I'm down a lot at the moment. It's certainly not managements fault, as they have done everything that had been outlined. And us longs aren't dumb. This project is about to become a mine. Is it possible that a big player, maybe Sibanye, are keeping the ...more

We had to wait for Canada's funding bill and that interrupted our financing.( the natural order, it had to happen) Which I think gave this short group time to bring our price down. I'm with Sacks as I don't see these shorts stopping any time soon. So the only thing I can do as a long is try to buy more at or below my average in the next few weeks. It's tough to watch as the market ...more

I'm starting to think the same way re: buyout Sacks. From Kerry's most recent interview, it sounds like up to 100mil (10-15% of capex) might need to be raised in equity (up to - in the absence of a further stream or pre selling concentrate). While this would not be devastating, as it would fund us through to production, if the MC stays this low, it will be more dilution than I had ...more

Tonight, I listened to the most recent interview with Kerry.  I did not really get the same picture as you Y93.  We will get a better idea within 4 months from now.  I have been invested for quite some time so this is not that long for me. Running the numbers: 240 million from WPM 550 million debt package 100 million leasing package Total 890 million in funding Capex has ...more

Maybe I'm just preparing myself for the worst case scenario.  What was the 100mill leasing package? I must have FF that part. In my inderstanding the EDC package would be part of the debt package, which Endeavour has suggested the project can support $400 mil US. I was basing my numbers on Kerry saying the banks would require 10-15% of the CAPEX in equity. Hopefully management can find ...more

He says at 15.35   We are looking at a few other interesting nuances to put together the rest   that the banks aren't going to require us to have some equity.  The slide suggests that the EDC facility is extra but that could be misleading. Having listened now to the Q and A, , I think you are correct in your comments. Y93' s comment about "so much value in the jr mining sector right now" is correct and I am seeing some solid bottoming action and some positive uptrends emerging for a number of stocks I follow. As money starts to return to the jr sector after the 50% drop this year the shorts will find themselves on the wrong side of a rising trend.

Total volume today (about 10 minutes to close) is about 160k of which 36k is in the U.S. and about 90k on the smaller Canadian exchanges.
