The troll has proved my point once again as he posted two more FUD attacks against GENM, literally while I was posting about his abusive tactics. 

And of course, there are new morbid references to death and dying.  Seriously.  

I updated my post below with the many additional short and distort tactics used in his latest two posts highlighted in blue.

Below is a non-exhaustive list of the things the short sellers are using against GENM and the reason why the price is .56 and will potentially drop further again today.

These factors assist in declining the price, scaring away old and new investors and, too often and most importantly, to cover their tracks.

These factors are used by abusive short sellers not only against GENM, but across the TSX and especially against vulnerable Canadian mining exploration companies, early developers and TSXV listed companies:

• market downturns 
• low volume caused by their price attacks (ie. scaring new investors looking at the GENM price chart all caused by the short selling)
• inflation fears
• real inflation and interest rate hikes
• MAGA, Trump vs the world, Biden can do nothing right attitudes
• Ukraine war and degenerate Russian oligarchs
• COVID economic upheaval and supply line disruptions
• the fact this is a Canadian outfit (i.e., treated differently than American based companies by investors)
• CAD vs USD
• Pd price swings as a lightly traded commodity
• retail investors' lack of interest (and knowledge) in anything but flavor of the day investments like crypto, NFTs, lithium and rare earths 
• removal of the uptick rule that prevented short selling to actively bring down the price of a stock (ie. self-fulfiling and creating your own price drop via short selling)
• market makers industry-wide abuse of lax trading rules
• routing orders to secondary exchanges that would bring thr price up, while only routing orders dropping the price to the TSX board
• market regulator not enforcing the rules but only in extreme cases
• no interest of regulators to enforce the current rules (perhaps due to no capacity, ie. no competent staff) 
• no political interest, will (or in fact basic understand of the problem) by politicians that could do something about it
• insults and demeaning comments about anyone that shines light on this problem
• insults and demeaning comments about company management
• insults and demeaning comments about anyone countering the troll narrative (sometimes pre-emptively)
• insults and demeaning comments about existing shareholders
• Straight up lies, such as saying the company is going out of business
• And most strangely, with the current GENM troll in particular, morbid over-the-top imagery and references to death and dying
• Asking banal questions that are easily answered and debunked as lies
• Lies of omission, such ask asking "where are the permits" while neglecting to mention that permits required by other orders of governments (often much more important) have already been granted or asking "where the money" without mentioning substantive deals already reach (i.e. $240M Wheaton streaming deal with GENM)
• Hyperfocussing on the stock price that is actively being manipulated by the person posting
• Describing actions of people who have never done or said any of those things, such as saying that bureaucracts are acting to kill a particular project
• Attacking the company for not communicating, then attacking their methods of communications with baseless attacks and insults when they do.

There is a reason that  https://savecanadianmining.com, the industry lobbying organisation against predatory short selling was created.  It is just unfortunate that their message has not been heard or acted upon.

Now bring on the creation of harassment accounts today as I post these words. 

I do expect my SB inbox will be filled with insults and threats again from newly created accounts as I only recently put on ignore those that were harassing me in the past.

Btw, SH does not monitor SH DMs and treats them "like your email", i.e. if you have a problem with someone messaging you, harassing you or making threats, call the police as SH will do absolutely nothing about it.

Members are free to create as many accounts as they want to send harassment over SH DM, the only thing one can do is call the police or put those harassers on ignore. 

Now imagine if any other social media company ran their site like that.

I do wonder what Google or Meta would do if you told them that another Gmail or FB user was abusively harassing you using their platform.
