If government, permitters, powers that be .. .wanted this project to go, it would be permitted. 

They don't .... they think it's a joke ... they don't think it's viable ..... so no permits coming.

where I come from ... if locals, indiginous population, mayor, townsfolk, local, regional, provincial and federal level of government were all behind a project .... they would light a fire under the snail-like bureaucrats who have paralyzed everything with their catatonic permitting process ...  where i come from ... the minister or the premier picks up the phone, and permitting gets done ...more
