Certainly agree, politicians talk to get re-elected. The real world is exactly what the Toyota president says the infrastructure will not be there ? the big thing is also cold weather? most of Canada goes into deep freeze from  November to March where EV's lose up to 40% of the charge? Then you have to sit at a charging station for 1 hour roughly fo 80% charge?  WHERE CAN I BUY AN ...more

Ebankbank: don't forget about hot climates either. Excessive heat isn't good for the batteries either. I just read an article about buying a used EV and it suggests not buying one that was driven in a hot climate like Phoenix, Arizona.  Excessive heat is bad for the battery life. None of the politicians did their homework or really put any real thought into totally switching over to ...more

Pd and pt hoarding will start up because I'm sure tge other manufacturers know the same thing but Toyota is tge first to speak about it
