It's true.  One large wager provides better odds than hundreds of smaller bets. Some resident whales know this, and bet accordingly.

Fits with the "First Rule of Casino Gambling" NEVER give the casino time to firmly establish its supremacy in winning odds The longer you spend in a casino per visit, the higher the odds you will lose
