I always get a kick out reading my favorite hedgy comment on the latest macro issues. I am too cheap to subscribe to his paid service, besides he frequently espouses complex investments in foreign markets etc. A bit over my head to say the least.

Kuppy has a way of bluntly stating the truth in public, most refreshing and usually prescient.

Can't count how many people have complained to me that "Big Oil" controls the price of oil and also gouges us on gasoline.  I've given up trying to explain that commodity prices reflect GLOBAL supply and demand. We may be in a stagflation scenario where growth is constrained by persistently expensive fossil fuels.  Price of oil could stay $80 even through a recession.  ...more
