TLV Thoughts on Suncor vs. Gamehost Capital Allocation

Given TLV's deep convictions on the topic of capital allocation, I thought I would seek his input on comparing / contrasting Suncors vs. Gamehost's capital allocation strategy. Putting aside the apples to oranges aspect of the two different companies, they are both very deep value plays with many similar investors IMO.

There are lots of unhappy Suncor investors who did not receive a bump in the latest divvy. Gamehost occasionally endures a similar debate after reporting.

Suncor has massive free cash flow, Gamehost, not so much.

Curious if TLV feels like chiming in regarding the capital allocation strategies involved :-)

Not only are their operations different but more importantly so is the long-term predictability of those operations and this has a huge impact on a company’s capital allocation policy and must be taken into account by a competent Board of Directors when approving that policy.   I’ll try to be

MTY is pretty impressive.  Looks like debt (after absorbing BBQ) still conservative. Seems like a brutal business, I have never been interestred in food service.
