No buybacks in June.

No buybacks in June at all.

Any speculations on why? Buybacks have been reported every month for years and now they suddenly stopped just this one month.

Maybe they have something in the works? Even when they bought back the 9% of Deerfoot they still bought back shares.

So either: dividend increase, takeover of company or just conserving capital?

The May buybacks were all done in that first week and a half before they abruptly stopped. From looking at filings they have not missed a month since 2017 1. Bearish possibility: management no longer sees value in buying back shares vs ...more

Really good point.    AGM was May 9th.    Maybe Kasking told the gang it's time to prepare for a Dividend increase.     Maybe they are following his suggestion!
