I've made the decision to exit GMTNF.  The technicals show a good chance of Gold being dragged down further with the strong US$, and based upon the lack of production expectations/guidance and potential dilution I think it's best to move on to a pure Futures strategy.  I'll be buying Silver coins/bars on dips but I don't think the paper dips will affect the physical price that much as premiums will continue to increase.  I also think there's a good chance that there is a white or black swan event in the next few months (i.e., total EU currency collapse, rising energy and food costs, or something we cannot yet see).  That pushes me to the futures market to take advantage of the volatility, and to focus on that solely.

You live and you learn, and no regrets here.  This will be a tax write-off vs my futures gains.  I wish everyone all the best, especially you Windtalker.

Sorry for your tax write off Theck - hope you do well in the futures market.   White ' black swan event is interesting in itself.  Quite the timeline.
