$115 target in 2 years for NanoXplore!

Report link below...

Highlights

Forecast Graphene Demand | At its annual meeting, management mentioned
that the total apparent graphene demand from all of its purchase order
discussions that are underway looks like 120,000 tpa two years out (i.e.,
December 2022).

This Is New and Significant Information | Not only is the quantity new but also
the timeframe. Demand of 120,000 tpa would require 30 4,000-tpa graphene
production modules. Also, the slope of the ramp-up of 24 months indicates how
quickly demand has built since the company
s 4,000-tpa graphene plant was
completed in July.

Financial Impact Is Massive | The economics of NanoXplores graphene
production method is very robust. Each 4,000-tpa module produces $15
$18M in
annual cash flow, thus 30 modules would produce US$528M (C$692M) of annual
EBITDA (Figure 1.)

High ROI, Fast Payback | Each module generating cash flow of $15$18M per
annum equates to a one-year payback and 100% ROI. Consequently, the rampup can be self-funding once the first few plants are running (Figures 2 & 3).

Expect U.S. Plant Build Out | To diversify, we fully expect NanoXplore to expand
capacity into its North Carolina plant plus Montreal. This would provide a good
level of North American geographic diversification and production redundancy.

Si Anode Graphene Paste Pilot Line by End of 2021 | NanoXplore has been
working for several years on a graphene-enhanced polymer coating for Si anodes
in Li-ion batteries. This work is progressing well and management expects to have
a pilot line running by the end of 2021

Ok coming back (again) on this supposedly EV promising market aka Li-ion battery tech improvement. Im referring here to the latest company's presentation on theit website, showing their R & D results. I will not discuss those again. But they also show the market size for 2025 at around a 350GWh total production capacity (per annum). Is it right? See here: a Tesla car has a 2-3MWh storage ...more

You really have a long way to go!    40 kg  of graphene per EV , with a forecasted 26 million EVs sold in 2030.  Sounds like a very significant total addressable market for GRAPHENE! From the Raymond James' analyst report: Developments in Battery and Silicon-rich Anodes of Substantial Importance While NanoXplore has been working on aspects related to graphene as an ...more

Only time will tell.... From the recent Raymond James research report... even if u cut this by 75%, it would still be significant...plus other verticals to explore including plastic recycling and automotive parts? Those are legit calculations from a bottom up perspective. 40kg per vehicle is a huge amount for battery cells even for 1 EV and no one really knows for sure about this wrapped paste around the electrodes which is an R&D project right now. Well, considering the insider information taken from their corporate presentation, so what say you about my proposed split from a top down approach ...more

Jimmy - the approach that I take in my DCF valuation model for NanoXplore is to forecast three scenarios :  1) optimistic; 2) base case; and 3) pessimistic.  Therefore, variability in potential demand is modulated across the scenarios.

Evaluating NanoXplore shares in 2022 : The Price-To-Sales Ratio can be very useful -      Plastic component niche : shares valued at 3 times sales -      Graphene oxide niche : shares valued at 10 times sales -      Silicium/graphene battery niche : shares valued at 20 times sales

Again, GRA are not in the Graphene Oxides (or GO in many reports) business. Got it? JimmyB

NanoXplore is in the graphene business which is a much more significant opportunity.  Graphene oxide is the poor man's cousin! As you know: Graphene is defined as a one-atom-thick carbon sheet in a hexagonal lattice structure or as single-layered graphite. Frequently referred to as a “wonder” material, graphene has attracted a lot of attention due to its unique properties. It is the ...more

Thank you for that report! This is 100% a gamechanger considering that according to this report NanoXplore stated that there is 120000 tpa of demand within 2 years. This feels like material information that should be released as a PR/NR. It is clear that adding graphene to certain products increases the value by a staggering amount (check out the latest presentation from GRA to see what MRE is ...more
