Seems like the selling is coming from the U.S.  The volume on NNXPF is higher than GRA

Hmm? There is a message stated in the name you are choosing to utilize. You shouldn't be surprized; don't act ( as per your WTF comment) as though you are. You are enquiring about news whilst providing news of the return of the market maker (s). LOL I have news for everybody, The Market Maker(s) didn't ever leave. With such low daily traded volume, the Market Maker (s) can whip the ...more

Given that the transactions are now all small trades frommany sources suggests that early selling has brought on a lot of margin calls and/or stop loss sales . The only disconcerting thing is that this kind of wild stock movement inordinately hurts the small investor who actually have supported this company from the get go.

At the time of day the stock price was at its all time high, I think what took the stock down was a 9 share transaction for about $4.50 (Thinking someone might of sold shares on a Market order and someone had a bid in at this low value) which then triggered investors stop loss order. The 9 share transaction was the first transaction after the day high.

Almost  a million shares have traded today : cannot believe that the sell off was sparked by a non- board lot transaction .Odd lot trades are not normally done at bid/offering posted prices , and are not usually reported as normal transactions.  If there isn't any more to this than that , there are an awful lot of shareholders that could be seriously "pissed". Also, there ...more

Here's the deal. A non-board lot transaction is typically not tossed to market immediately. Brokerages keep those and accumulate such odd lots; to be traded as whole lots at a later time. This usually happens towrds the end of the day or; with a company such as NanoXplore, such brokerages may elect to keep such shares for thier own purposes. We all know what this is. stop trying to make ...more

We also have to recognize that besides the TSX listing, no news have been coming to support the enthousiasm of people who bought last few weeks above 4.70$CAN. As a long time shareholder, i haven't sold a share but understand that short term profit taking is part of the equation. Nothing has changed since last friday, the potential is still there.

1.5 million shares have already traded to day between the exchanges in Canada and the U.S.   This is no small fry controlling this. We had a good run and now we have profit taking. I did sell some last week and bought some back today. Typical trading.

Until this company decides to uplist at a U.S. big board, GRA shareholders will be made to experience days like today quite frequently. You spoke of news, rather the lack thereof, being a catalysts for a resurgence of the share price upward; that's, to some extent, poppycock, Will101. This share price has been made to move well in excess of 20% without news; and the share price can be made to ...more

The complaint that the company has not commented on the big swing today is a reasonable one, though in fairness they did not comment on a very recent trading day when the market moved up by an even larger amount. I must admit to be taken sharply aback when, having seen the opening this morning, gone for a walk pretty happy with life, coming home to find the shares trading down over a point.& ...more

Hello Savyinvestor333 With all due regard, I would first like to state that my use of the word poppycock was in no way intended to offend Will. I value Will's input; as i do your own I did state Wiill's reasoning was, 'to some extent, poppycock'; his statements are not entirely without merit What's more, your question is, for a 'savyinvestor', in some way revealing ...more

Hello 1student 1. Gra rarely issues news releases for anything including financial results so to comment on a down day when there was no comment on the corresponding up day would bother me more. 2. All market players shop for best pricing so we can't blame this on the U.S> listing. If there is a higher bid in Canada they the shares will be bought in the U.S and resold in Canada in an ...more

I see many itchy a**h***s today as their favorite speculative baby took a hit simply because the wise guys made some money over the peasants. So you have put the champagne back in the fridge I am guessing? Alright, today the balloon may have slipped between the greasy fingers of the usual people making good pumps and dumps on a daily basis, remember there's always a bigger shark in the sea ...more

Maybe take a look at another 2 week chart for CIA  on TSX and CIA's Ausralian listing. On July 30 they had a huge 25 million share sale and a new high was hit at $7.80 Aus. The 25 million share block was crossed at $7.50 Aus and it has been dropping ever since. It is now down around 20% from the bebinning of the month. As I said last week I doubt we can hold these levels without news. We ...more

" We are now at levels that we say (sic) just last week AMaybe just a fund wanted in and no blocks were available that pushed the price up in the first place." Not likely that any capable fund manager would make initial purchase in that manner. Also, buying seemed fairly widespread. Hello 1student, I agree that the company should have released a statement, and i also agree that the listing in the US pink sheets markets is ripe for stock manipulation, by the market maker or any other party having the wherewithal to act. I have often stated that proper market listing in the US, and proper stock folloowing by a couple of the large six banks in Canada, and eventually in the US, ...more

Hello Will101. You have demonstrated a requisite capacity to be brutally honest; unlike savy investor's projected disingenuousness - although I never the less appreciate savy investor's input. Good heavens: "requisite capacity, disingenuousness, jackals, ultimate straight shooter, I call a spade a spade."You sound like a child with a dictionary trying to come across like an adult. Just talk clear and concise minus the superfluous bullsh@t. I like this stock. But listening to your childish banter makes me want to look elsewhere.

Hello Stockfshr. LOL! The last time a child told you he or she calls a spade a spade or utilized the word jackals in the context which I used it in or referred to him or herself as the  ultimate straight shooter was when? So, you don't want me to come across as an adult? I guess one too many 'wobblypops' for you today,eh. Superfluous bullsh@t, you say? Hey; that's not fair. I ...more
