VoltaXplore will build a one-million-square-foot 10GWh battery cell manufacturing facility. The proposed factory would have an output capacity of one billion cells per year, translating into production of between 140,000 to 150,000 EV batteries in the same time period. VoltaXplore has started talks about site selection for the new facility with two provinces ( Ontario and Quebec ).

Gotta ask you, Graphene007, where are you getting this info? In one sentence you say "Voltaxplore WILL build a one-million-square-foot 10GWh battery cell manufacturing facility"  and in the next sentence  you refer to a "PROPOSED factory". In any case, I am as excited about such a prospect as anyone, and hope your information accurate, but we really should be sure of ...more

Let me guess graphene007. You routinely and quite thoroughly wax the NanoXplore Investor Relations representative's hairy ba_l sack; or perhaps your special skills and semi-unique 'services' are required by a certain NanoXplore representative, who regularly needs his body waxed, specifically concentrating quite diligently on his chrome dome, so to speak. LOL! Heck, just maybe you ...more

Just trying to be useful... Reconfirmation : VoltaXplore has started talks about site selection for the new giga-facility with governments and other Canadian stakeholders. Two provinces are active in discussions so far.

Had you bothered to read my last most recent post, you would know that "Soroush Naxarpour, NanoXplore CEO,  partook of a three person panel interview, during which he clearly stated that there would be "a small" pilot plant battery cells manufacturing facility built and ready for the first quarter of 2022."  I believe the web link to such a interview had been posted ...more

Strategy 101 One scenario does not prevent the other Sun Tzu
Comment by 1student on Dec 16, 2021 11:10am
There's an idea Lire02. By way of the Sun Tzu associated comment, Graphene007 suggests both a 'small' pilot plant has been built and the company was seeking a perhaps 'strategically located' property upon which to build a full scale battery manufacturing facility. Giiven today's news release, perhaps company management have taken steps to procure property and facilities ...more

It all loks pretty exciting to me, but clearly market not yet very impressed. I suspect market still somewhat pissed about recent screwup, and taking out their frustrations on the stock.  Or, maybe just taking some year end profits !

Investissement Qubec plans to play an active role in VoltaXplore’s EV battery factory.

Karim Zaghib PhD (Investissement Quebec), will collaborate on a major project that will have significant benefits for Quebec, drawing on his expertise to position Quebec as a leader in the field of battery materials and energy storage.

I see DR Zaghib has a pretty thorough education in battery development, but nothing that suggests to me that he has any special afinity for Nano or VoltaXplore. Looks like it could be a bit of a "free for all" as everyone and his/her mother make grabs for the various governments'  cash.  Hope the politicos let the professionals handle the management of the process.

Sounds like some confusion about  "small" battery cells "pilot plant" 'manufacturing ' facility and one million square foot manufacturing facility capable of producing up to 140,000 EV batteries annually in Q1 , 2022. Seems to me that it likely both referring to smaller pilot plant which if successful would lead to larger facility. But we should certainly try to ...more

Quel changement, 1Student. Not sure what happened between 2 am and  4 pm when you posted this submission, but seems like two different people. I like the 4am version, very similar in tone to earlier 1Student submissions which posed some interesting and constructive  observations, but without the vitriol of recent submissions. As  stated, not sure the catalyst for the change, but ...more
