Not surprising that news did not arrive last week as it was the Quebec school March break. Not much gets done when a lot of people are south or on the ski hill.
Insiders continue to buy and reset the bottom. They have disclosed that there is a deal of some kind happening so there shouldn't be any restrictions on insider buys.
Fairly large bid of about 80 k shares sat on the board a good part of Friday. Wouldn't be a bad time for the last of the short positions to cover. Very likely to get filled on a Friday.
Watch Trudeau's schedule as well as his Industry Minister schedule. Both Quebecers who would certainly attend a big announcement.
