If EV gets so strong in the US, they will need clean energy

to produce that electricity. RNG is part of the solution, Solar as well. Solar can't supply enough of the energy demand in the US, that is why MASSIVE investments will be made in RNG, Solar and Wind Power.

I hold positions in GRN, XBC, SOLR.

In 2019, about 4,127 billion kilowatthours (kWh) (or about 4.13 trillion kWh) of electricity were generated at utility-scale electricity generation facilities in the United States.1 About 63% of this electricity generation was from fossil fuels—coal, natural gas, petroleum, and other gases. About 20% was from nuclear energy, and about 18% was from renewable energy sources. VERY likely the ...more

Ihave been a researcher in renewables for 40 years, and have I worked on the elecrtical sector extensively. There is simply not enough rng potential to make a notable dent in electricty production by replacing ng. At the margin, for a few very ...more

"Sorry, but RNG is not a sensible way to generate substantial electricity." it is a very sensible way to convert carbon to a clean energy source for landfill sites , dairy farms , many sources of organic waste etc. there will 10's of thousands of opportunities for smaller scale rng projects. I agree that solar wind hydrogen hydro and maybe nuclear will generate the bulk of ...more
