Parex…

The reason Parex has dropped so much lately is the civilian protests in their Serengeti are ....gte had the same last year and have removed the issues ....gte has the most production per share and growing ....m.4x more than bte ...twice pxt ...3 x  as much as cpg or wcp and gets payed Brent $ ......has large P2 reserves ...increases P1 reaearves and the some ......if you Accually look into the tax system it not that bad compared to Canada ...and if no more leases are given out in Colombia ..will not hurt gte will help as theirs goes up in value ....good luck with Parex ...I will stick to frontera and gran Tierra ...

Frank007, we hear what your saying and with GTE having the most production out of the other similar compnies and all.  Bottom line is that GTE share price only moves with the oil price!  While GTE is been growing the output and reserves and share buyback the shareprice remains the same.  Heck, the shareprice has not passed the $10.00 price after split.  The share price is ...more

yea!!! GTE is back over $8 OR 80 cents pre consolidation this is ROUGHLY 50% of where it was when this disasterous CONSOLIDATION WAS annouced..in the months before it had traded up to over $2.30 meaning $22 plus ..how did it go so WRONG???? BAD MANAGEMENT !!!...Here's another yardstick - GTE had a 30% ownership in PETROTAL but sold them as a block for EVEN LOWER  than the price which it ...more

Yeah!  GTE cracked $9.00 mark now purely on the recent uptick in oil price.  GTE has never managed to cross $10.00 after consolidation.   Bad Management indeed!  No appreciation in share price from the share buyback, increase in volumes and profits made except they blow it all in expensive exploration costs, servicing the debt and greasing the local authorities.
