Funny ...
It's fun to watch people who only view profit and loss as "the" measure of success - not giving adjustments for tax purposes any consideration.
Don't get me wrong ... I too enjoy companies with growing profits ... but ... I understand what it takes to get there for sustained future opportunity. I know (at least a little) that in times of flux and acquisition, there are tax benefits that will skew the bottom line numbers.
I wish these individuals would talk to that - in order to give a true picture of where we're at ... rather than fear monger in claims that "the sky is falling."
Agree that we have lots of cash and we have access to lots of cash. But we also know GUD isn't about to go to market at $5/share.
------------
Unfortunately Brazil is being ravaged by COVID and South America is experiencing tough times. You are unlikely to catch it at the bottom but you can develop it on it's way to/from the bottom. That's exactly when you go there - if you believe in the future growth of LATAM. If you don't get that basic prinicple about how Goodman invests ... one question you have to ask yourself ... Why am I investing here?
The kinds of investments you'd like GUD to purchase are exactly the kinds of investments Goodman avoids. He wants the ones that are cheaper because they're too much work for others.
Again - that's Goodman 101.

Well said Pork, investors have lost fortunes with GUD incuding Meir, and investors who bought the PP for $10. What is GUD MNGT proud of? Making Hundreds of millions evaporating

Chianchin provides irrefutable facts of GUD and not fairry tales delusion while loosing fortures with GUD. If GBT show losses again hang on to your hats ..ha...$$ as short sellers are waiting to feast again. $4 soon to come

I suppose anything can happen - but $4? I mean that would be a 15% discount to cash....CASH! I kind of hope you are right so I can buy more. But at the same time, I realize than sometimes people don't know what they are talking about. A part of ME thinks now is a GREAT time to invest even more in Latin America - maybe that why they filed the shelf prospectus. Looking forward to the call.

Ya - I have no idea why they keep playing the "Meir" card. Not sure what purpose it serves. Dude got greedy and wanted to spend our money on longshots to grow his weath. That's not the GUD game. Goodman said "NO." Not sure why they have an alter dedicated to him. : )

Is GUD long game to loose 50% market cap in six Years? Yes it is. Lets se from $10.70 to $5. Is it that difficult to calculate and asses GUD MNGT performance? The market gets it but few on this board live or pretent to be in an alternative investement reality/facts.
