Eternal Groundhog Day

I like to look in on GUD every now and then, just to see if anything has changed. Nothing has changed. My personal view is that stasis will forever be the condition of this company. Ten or twenty years from now a few diehard investors will still be sitting on the edge of their seats in keen anticipation of Jonathan's next genius move, and everyone else will be watching the TV in the nursing home common room. I skipped Samira's schtick at last week's BB conference. A perky demeanor doesn't persuade me to park cash in a dubious asset. The market has moved on, and the money just isn't inclined to follow Jonathan's dream of selling out-licensed Rxs to men named Pedro.

That said, none of this is really worth the sniping that continues between the posters on this board, and, frankly, when you read through some of these heated comments you start to see signs of behavior on the autism spectrum. Sorry if that seems harsh, but that's my impression.

SS GUD right on track @ Bloom Burton conference

She spoke very confidently.
commented on the intrinsic value being well above where the sp is trading.
spoke very concisely,  and of the crowded room, just 2 questions.
Lots of enthusiasm!

But certainly everyone would have to agree that the ...more

This may come as a shocker, but I also think a lot has changed over the last couple of years. The company is completely different than it was pre-covid and since then sales have gone up about 50% since acquisition. Even if the company stays stagnant which I do not think will happen, the buybacks will force change in a positive direction at some point.  I also think that like most stocks in ...more

As a sidenote, GUD has been buying back shares aggressively and are on pace to maxing out the allotted 8M shares until mid July which would put us at around 107M shares outstanding. 34M of them owned by goodman and Armoyan alone. One last note on change. The company has now put potential exit dates on the fund investments. Large chunks aiming for 2025-2027 and all by 2030. For those who are ...more

Pitchin ... You do realize a few things. First - I personally don't care if you buy or sell.  Not just you ... most people. Second - these kinds of social sites are only good for finding interesting ideas (or in a few cases, investors who have very different specialties) who fit the bill for private messaging discussions and for private forum discussions. Third - everything you just said ...more
