Does he still own 10% of the company? not listed in his top 10

I don't think it has ever been in his top 10, too small a company for him to buy that many shares. As of Sep 30th his fund had 15 equity investments, I believe Gear was still one. I hope he talks about Gear on BNN this Friday.

I'm betting he'll make this a top pick again. Should be debt free next year. Major cash flow.

If they end up debt free, a 100% possibility, getting close to half way through 4th quarter. Why not buy back shares especially if under 90c or under $1.00 But, how many shares is a good amount?  100 million, 150 million? You need enough for liquidity.  BNE has that problem as it jumps in increments due to lack of liquidity. Say if you have dividends?  I would only reinvest them ...more

If they do an NCIB, they can only buy 10% of the outstanding shares which would be approximately 25 million shares.  To do 100 million shares they would have to do an SIB and quite honestly, I don't think they have the money for an SIB that would buy back 100 million shares.  I'll go on record saying that there will be an NCIB talked about and they will say that the cap budget ...more
