Funds are usually restricted in purchasing small caps due to their fiduciary responsibility to the uninformed investor but private equity (informed investor) is quite likely to take a nibble soon. Once the shine is off the demand destruction canard, the real manipulation will begin. Watching the ebb and flow of prices and volumes, I do bElieve the present oil investors will be a match for them.
