I get better lookin each day

As Mac Davis used to sing. Decades ago. Lord, it's hard to be humble, but as I said a month ago, I picked up GXE at 63 Dec 27th, and topped it of a couple weeks ago at 61. So I'm a bit smug, I'll admit. As I learned 3 years ago it's lonely at the bottom, not the top. No shareholders in the magnificent 7 are lonely, but there surely are only a very few investors buying junior energy stocks at 52 week lows and with very low p/e or p/cf or p/NAV valuations. Heck, the mouthiest are the shorts (good contrarian indicator). I was expecting a bigger January effect pop in gxe but it's up nearly 10%, including the YUGE divy, from the lows of 60/61 so I'm holding for a few more months. Let's see what hope springs forward in a few months as the driving season kicks back in. GLTA.

The odd snipe is clearing the asks without raising the price. It looks like the bottom is in and some interest building. If Gear can winkle out some sort of deal, it may spur interest but, everybody wants to be the deal er and nobody (forced sales excepted) wants to end up the deal ee.

So much for that keen observation, down she goes again.

SCR too.  Let the crying continue. GLTA

Spoke a bit too soon? Better to remain silent and thought a fool, than speak out and remove all doubt.

Oh, the irony of  scoring in your own goal, tyler.

Considering I have been 100% correct on GXE, not sure what bs you are spewing now?

Lol, considering this conclusion has been the prevailing narrative on this board, it takes a special kind of personality disorder to claim all the credit.

You should have heeded your own advice but you're the kind or guy that can only quote other people because you are incapable of original thought so I guess you didn't really know what it meant. Oh yeah,  EAD ;-) GLTA

'Decades' of expertise and you rely on the normal rhythm of the market to make a desperate point? Do better. Give us your analysis of the SI. The hallmark of the troll: always critical, never analytical. Maybe you need a cat.

"Maybe you need a cat."  I suspect he needs its eupemistic synonym.  Badly.  ;-) GLTA

A hat?

GXE is fairly priced at these levels based on their assets. So unless they do something spectacular, which they don't seem to have the financial ability to accomplish, the share price ain't going anywhere. JMO

Nothing short of amazing will change investor sentiment and, even then, the likely result will be a focus on profitability and shareholder returns in the long term. Share price appreciation will only be a fixture of Tier 1asset holders, not small, mediocre asset holders. Thats not to suggest GXE won't thrive, just that the windfall profit narrative is no longer valid. The SI likely has to ...more

I think it is pretty clear that their "strategic process" is going nowhere fast. I have no idea why they just don't clear that up and move on. JMO
