TMX will be up and running sooner
than previous forcast. Expected to be open and producing by end of March.

That is simply false. They have only now pulled the stuck pipe out of the critical tunnel section. So the reason for the problem has to be corrected, and a new pipe installed. Why do you consider lying to be useful?

"and the company says the pipeline will be in service in the first quarter of 2024"

Yesterday's TMX update was May, definitely Q2. I think that is old news.

Not the article I was looking for, but it also says Q2 https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/trans-mountain-pipeline-sees-second-quarter-service-date-higher-cost-2024-02-27/

People can be wrong or otherwise disagree with you and not be lying. Why do you consider being antagonistic to be useful?

Perhaps there was a tree with a hummingbird nest, and not a stuck pipe. just saying.

With the buyback now it is in Gear's best interests for TMX to be delayed. There are levels to this game and having the stock cheap for long will save Gear millions if they are serious to fully fulfil 10% allowance on the year.

They are serious about talking about buybacks, not necessarily about funding them. Use spare change for optimal use depending on circumstances.
