While I will admit my bet on GXE recovering a bit was a tad more than 'beer money', it wasn't a huge investment, nor a huge risk IMO. I saw an opportunity to cash in on the panic of those who were confused by the calculations of the "arrangement".
I guess you didn't take advantage of the opportunity. Your loss.

looks like baranga's childish and jealous comment got removed. For me, this was just an opportunity to make a quick buck. I do believe that GXE was undervalued at 46 cents, so it wasn't a hard decision to pick up a few shares. If I wasn't using margin to buy those shares, I probably would have held out for a few more cents. But paying interest on that borrowed money longer term is ...more

Hi Tyler. Congrats for having the B***s for buying more GXE and making some money on a quick trade. But you have to admit, there are a lot of beaten down canadian oil companies that could have been traded for good money over the past week. And I would advocate that some of those alternatives are less risky than GXE. But if GXE is working for you, that's great. But I decided to add to my Veren ...more
