TMX is a useless site. Ask them who it was and they will tell you they use a number of 3rd party reports to come up with the figure and it can be a fund which they always classify as inside even though it isn't. This is the only reliable site.  https://canadianinsider.com/node/7?menu_tickersearch=gxi   As of 11:59pm ET March 24th, 2014 Filing ...more

Wrong. TMX told me they use a variety of sources but won't ever explain any instance when you ask who the insiders are. I have looked on SEDI in the past and verified cdninsider is correct and TMX is a bogus report - Most companies have insider buying once in a while and some quite often per TMX, but it never bears out in sedi IF Cdn insider doesn't show it. I have never seen cn insider ...more

The 10 provinces and 3 territories in Canada are responsible for securities regulations. Securities regulators from each province and territory have teamed up to form the Canadian Securities Administrators, or CSA for short.Source: https://www.securities-administrators.ca/aboutcsa.aspx?id=77 The System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI) is Canada's ... service for the filing and ...more

Show me the sedi transaction listing insiders purchasing GXI. You keep skirting the issue that no insider transaction is listed on SEDI. Until I see SEDI showing the insider, I guarantee TMX is a garbage reporter for inside transactions, just like it always is.

I never disagreed with you re the TMX; my disagreement was with your statement above. That being said, TMX can still be useful on occasion as an early if unofficial (and possibly  incorrect) indication - insiders have 5 days to report to SEDI which obviously also affects CI.

You are clutching at straws if you think TMX gets SEDI or any other insider info data any faster than cdninsider. And to top it off by saying "incorrect" information can be useful? I made my points, you can keep arguing but the only thing I am interested in is some reality, like the SEDI report I asked for yesterday that you keep avoiding.

"of course one might want to await confirmation from SEDI up to 5 days later) but some might still consider this unofficial early indiction as being worth noting." You like to fill the page with TMX references but it boils down to the below: You can't find your TMX insider on SEDI because it didn't occur but you still think the report is valuable.

I have no idea what you're talking about as my only point all along has been to challenge your assertion that the Canadian Investor is the only reliable source of information regarding insider trading. As we now know, CI itself relies on SEDI for its data so anyone can arrive at their own conclusion as to what the ultimate reliable source is. But since it is apparently more important to you ...more
