Scotiabank before the Quarterly Report

Scotiabank had HCG booked at $47 and this is before the Quarterly Report today.  It is said that the company has a bankroll of over $9 per share (if i read a report right).  Wouldn't that suggest a Dividend should be in the near future.

Found the eact quote from BNS evaluation: "we estimate HCG has $490 M (9.65/sh) of excess capital".

Just scroll back a couple of posts, and you'll see TD's updated figure is $11.47/share of excess capital. They said on the conference call this morning, they would likely do a SIB, as they have in the past, followed by a dividend and active NCIB. The goal is to get capital levels to 14-15% target in 12-18 months.
