Hexo shareholders will take a furtehr pounding...

Post by Duster340on Apr 25, 2023 1:43pm

Tilray

"sets another new all-time low @ $3.09. hexo share holders have been taken to the cleaners. when the new shares are issued tilray will have a $2 handle  lol"

and like it.

Tilray was originally going to pay .90 cents a share when the High Trail financing trabsactionw a annouced, that dropped to .85 then .80 and the final price was .40 cents for 48% ownership.
The price was adjusted to reflect Hexo's plummeting share price.

When this latest deal was announced, Hexo share price was around $1.70 and Tilray gave a slight premium with a $1.75 acquisiton price.

Hexo now sits around the $1.50 mark - so yes, Hexo shareholders will get less of a premium with Tilray's share price dropping - but shareholders can expect a revised (downward) transaction from the .43 Hexo to Tilray share conversion, to again reflect Hexo's dropping share price and the current conditions.
