Natives looking for millions.

This seems to explain why the stock is plummeting this morning https://globalnews.ca/news/4351120/first-nations-lawsuit-husky-oil-spill-north-saskatchewan-river/

The stock isn't plumetting and the natives always want millions from someone.

Fundamentals for the company look great and it is way undervalued. Its a great long term hold. There are no growing liabilities here but rather a stalker (with no technical or business experience) who is here making a fool of himself (with multiple handles) spewing a bunch of bad advice on topics he knows nothing about. Laughable but very mean spirited as a stalker always is. Stays glued to the ...more

Help me understand the recent posts on Native rights bashing ... if  their community was impacted by the spill why are they not entitled to compensation?  I do not read posts bashing the provincial government's investigations or laying of charges for millions ... are native rights any less than provinicial environmental rights?  Any less than shareholder rights? The point is that they were compensated and over $90 million was spent on the clean up effort.......Hello? Blood from a stone as the old saying goes.
Comment by SQCConsulting on Jul 25, 2018 2:55pm
They want "go away" money

They were already compensated and the spill was cleaned up. More, more, more.....

Claiming for damaged property and enfringement of rights is hardly 'cashing in on an opportunity'.   Native groups have not traditionally been activist investors ... who would force issues before the board/shareholders more often.  I suppose having one a dominant shareholder is insurance against such understakings.

The Cree obviously made their claims b/c of a dispute over adequate compensation.  Is there any evidence that the claim is vexatious - no (although I too have my reservations with CBC's lack of reporting all details).  Resolution of the dispute is achieved by negotiation, failing which litigation ... little is gained by ignoring their rights.  As for the $90 million spent ... I ...more

It's not about native rights bashing, it's about someone who comes on here everyday to imply that HSE is somehow responsible for endless legal liabilities owed to the natives and that is simply not the case. They may be owed something in the way of compensation but as you noted a lot of other parties haven't even filed a claim so maybe its not a life altering event.

I give up....
Comment by oilandgasmick on Jul 25, 2018 4:56pm
Except you are not a concerned shareholder and you do not own the stock. You are not some rights activist- you know that as well as I do. You are merely someone who has stalked the shareholders and undoubtedly panicked some of them into selling at the 52 week low and that gave you great pleasure, didn't it? The stock has risen 50% on the year and that means a lot of sellers have lost a lot of ...more

Yup and unfortunately he will never leave.....unless his contract changes to stalk another company. You would have to be borderline brain dead not to see through his tactics but agree that for him, raising the fear factor is mission accomplished.

But LOL, Mr. Chapman says that he is going to send the authorities after us--for calling out a stalker and exposing the guy for what he is! Too funny, I will be waiting for the RCMP to show up at my door and then i can give them a full description of this goof, I imagine they already have him on file. You are right though, he will never leave but of course he is not getting paid- except in kicks ...more

So your little speech about the criminal code was directed at who?  Yourself? I guess that would be fitting. Perhaps you can sue yourself and one of your alternate personalities in court for all the fraudulent claims you have made here. I find it amusing that you would know the exact statute concerning this matter but I am sure that in this area (criminal code) you would qualify as an ...more

I smelled sh!t on the day scottie posted his first post back in April 2016. That is why I am on this P0S since then. His first post talks about SEC investigation on reserve fraud and other lawsuits he heard but needed more info from BB. IE planting a seed that husky is under an accounting fraud investigation and several ongoing lawsuits to BB without any evidence. A normal investor would have ...more
