Once I'm done I can get out of this rat race, disconnect from the media, relax somewhere quiet, and take my tin foil hat off.   

To play the market you got to listen to the news, the propoganda.....etc......   Just Makes You Sick.....


As long as HSE does not go bankrupt, this plan works for me.

I don't think that's True.   They are "shares" dispite having a define payout like Debt/bonds.   They are first in line before the Commons in an event of bankruptcy.  The most that they will get will be $25/share plus any accumulated dividends in an event of bankruptcy I believe.    They will also get $25 if taken private I think... The trick is to try to accumulate shares at the highest Yield you can get them at.    You have to shoot for a very HIGH yield if you want to walk away from the markets and just sit back and relax.   Keep in mind that after 5 years, when these roll over,  most likely the $ dividend amount paid  will drop a little....  I'm expecting Canadian Bank interest rates to ...more
