HVU could fall below HVI

If the SP has a good week, we could see HVU fall below HVI. They are only a dollar part. Whoever though this was possible.

Is there any concerns that Horizon may have adequate liquidity within HVU  to buy more VIX  futures to maintain the fund?

I'm also estimating (it's a rough estimate) that the SP would have to drop to 1900 for HVU to reach $21. My estimate is as follows: 1% drop in SP = 5% gain in VIX futures =10% gain 2X.   Due to slippage/USD exchange ect: 1% drop in SP = 7.5% gain in HVU Slippage hurts. Are my numbers reasonable? Other guesses?

It also helps to look at the SP furtures - ES mini (after hours). You have got something to look at 24/5.   VIX futures should move 4X-5X opposite the ES mini movement. eg (VIX futures = +4/5%. ES -1%).  When it’s not following ...more
