Challenger Job Cuts (Jun)

Today at 7:30, there will be this compilation of annonced job cuts in the US, a good indication of tomorow Nonfarm Payrolls (Jun).

Last month, ADP Nonfarm Employment Change (Jun) was literaly out of the reality, i personally think that the today stat will be a reality check to know if ADP is still representing the US more than a stat to make investment from, could make entry point for new commers depending on the Challenger's data...

Important data for today :

Initial Jobless Claims 8h30
Crude Oil Inventories 11h
Gasoline Inventories 11h
Natural Gas Storage 11h

I think that Natural Gas Storage is at 10h30 am today not 11h

For the job stats. Challenger Job Cuts gived a situation a bit worst, 27 % increase since last month... ADP Nonfarm Employment Change still seems to wear pink glasses... See tomorow... Reduced last month a bit... Initial Jobless Claims did give a "good" july number, last number for june get worst. There is my calculations for MAY, JUNE and JULY, it's seems to go better for the lost ...more

Eric   Good compilation of data. I think we have reached the low water mark for cuts/jobless claims and the high water mark for new payrolls . Now that the rate hike is off the table for 2016 (although you never know what the FOMC may say). I except oil to be the main proxy driving the markets like today
