Don't be too confident from that last statement. There is always a downside..

Fine. So it opens at 8ish and then we still see 10 and 11 range this week or next week sort of thing. My point is that the 52 week lows are not the norm. I also think oil will have further downturn into September.

Completely agree!! Everyday we are seeing new lows why should this week be any different? They can test new lows all the way to 0!!!!!!

He is talking about the VIX !!! He is right, it's not the norm to be at 52 weeks low ! Check the VIX from by example in this link : https://www.barchart.com/interactive_charts/futures/VIY00 We have time for the "ultimate" low of 9.31 but still... For your benefice, there is the chart daily on 5 year, it's never get long on the low...

Thanks for the info Eric, So what's your take on this? What do you think we will see today? This week? Is this something we should be buying now or waiting for it to go lower? Thanks

I can't go that deeply and sugest buying... For the moment, we see a small increase on the SP500 and a very small increase on the GOLD for today but untill Friday... Let see for the day... :P Remember, our risk in HVU is there ! It's because we doesn't know the future that we can mutiply the HVU price by 2, by 3, by 4....

Not asking that you advise anyone to buy at this price... Just curious as to your opinion on where this is heading this week? Do you see the SP keeps climbing or will the VIX regain some value?

When come to hvu you cann't buy on the exact price , you have to avaerage down look or the $vix at the lowest point around 13 to 12 and sp500 gain too much in last 10 day In for a penny in or a pound. and hope we don't lose a shirt! hahah

lofty expectations... For 12-13 $ ? On HVU, i would expect 30-40 $ easily with a correction, a lot more on recession... My first selling point is 25 $, next one is 25.15 $ and so on(With larger spread) to 65 $...

Good job report should get feds thinking of raising rates again. That's what we HVU losers are hanging our hats on.

BREAKING: UK Prime Minister David Cameron will stand down on Wednesday; Theresa May to become leader And so it begins...wait till banking financials later this week though. S&P ATH is a bubble I think. 52 week low VIX is not going to stay. 15-16 VIX seems more reasonable and this at 9.5-11. Not counting surprise spikes.

VIX is somewhat higher than 11 right now. FYI, https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/VIX:IND

I just got in this stock for the first time today...bought in at 8.43. Seems like a no brainer with the market being so fragile right now. I don't think this market momentum will last much longer.
