Today. Payroll data tomorow plus 4 fed speakers. Lael brainard as i said before, very corrupt woman who called the last minute press conference before the sept fomc meeting. Ism employment report and the preliminary payroll data dont suggest a great jobs report. Tell me what you think bud !

Went in SVXY/ HVI big time. Remember people get into options before a big event, which causes a spike in VIX before.

So if I'm to understand this correctly, you're playing an inverse VIX 2x ETF with the anticipation of lower volatility or higher volatility? Because post event volatility is what I'm here for and I don't think the outcome of the election will actually matter, either result will cause volatility.

I wish there was a vix inverse 2x. But i'm anticipating lower volatility. I sort of think even a Trump victory will only cause a temporary spike in Vix. But Darth is right about tomorrow, NFP is likely to come lower according to many sources and indicators, which may be why VIX has been higher, USD and market lower, then the focus will likely turn to Feds holding a rate hike in December if ...more

yes, vix has been going up but the dollar is telling a different story. Vix drawdown likely imminent. IF trump wins then the floodgates open for the vix

Trump wins then the vix goes up , trump loses there will be riots on a scale not seen in a long time. So i would say vix spike. However guys, one should not dismiss the feds willingnes to hike, they are trapped with FF rate at .25 -.5 so in the event of a recession that would be a scary scenario. Only other weapon left is QE.
