Weird Volatility

I really thought with today’s events HVU would open up come Tuesday. I have no position on VIX. What I see for Tuesday is a very strong drop for Uvxy and HVU. 

CME futures are so high at this point HVU would open 5 to 7% down. Nice to see our traders take profits off table even if a tad early. 

I remain with thought ought be very cautious when in early days and weeks on earnings reports. Get a feel on market impact of these reports. 

I remain market likely to be to be more volatile Mid May prior to the June Fed meetings and next interest rate decision. Syria today, what about N Korea meeting next month? Huge peace move if N Korea moves to de-nuclearization. 

What if China and US negotiate on tariffs. What if tariffs increase. Just deal with short term reality, be cautious, but do trade.

About VIX in a sec. Hope Longguy caught another D run which I was posting so early today. About wired volatility. It is not weird when VIX HVU opens down. When it opens 4.5% down, respect drop before jumping into HVU. Patience as often I expect low to be 9% or more on the day if following strong runs on HVU price.  This can can fall further on China action re tariffs. Just my observation ...more

Yes, those bugs stress me out. Bought again at $31.40 and sold at $31.55 I still have the ones bought at $31.80 and my sell order is ready. DS
