Why are we not seeing any public takeover offers?

Should be some large companies seeing the discontent and discord and seeing an opportunity to propose a reasonable takeover offer. Why not?

Especially Precision Drilling, they are still 16% ahead of  where their stock was trading when they bought the Well servicing and rentals division in July/22. Would be a comical twist of fate for them to acquire $HWO with a offer consisting of $PD stock and then do a tax free roll-over to utilize the non-capital losses that the High Arctic CDN business has...

The value here resides in PNG and there's that thing called sovereign risk ; there may be no purchasers that want to operate there? Could be no value in the continuing small revenue Canadian operations for a purchaser and minimal value for tax losses because of the issues involved in buying the whole company; some value IMO in Team Snubbing but no plans to list the company ( maybe that's ...more

Stuck in the mud for sure. No PNG contract yet Governance is a mess Canadian Entity is in wind-down mode Until there is a clear path forward this should correctly trade at a significat discount. Management must do their best to run this and win contracts. The Board must come to grips with their failure to properly govern and find an alternative path that creates value for all shareholders ...more
