Hwx just formed a new ventures group.They are buying up new land at a fast clip.Nuttall has said on bnnthey are looking to use new fan style,fishbone ,stringwray etc drilling to make low productivity areas more productive or to convert non productive wells to economic ones.In the clearwater they are trying it in peavine and west martin.Neil in his Ros Bros talk said  he does not look to be first on a new play concept but is happy to be third as he can learn from earlier work done by others.So in the clearwater Spur and Delta were early hwx came in with cve bid.Lcx is all raging river people with hwx board members and neil as special advisor to the board.They are basing a new company,went public in nov 2022 on this approach.Jeremey at Raymond James showed a wonderfull example of how this new well well design improved performance.Very early days as everyone is still buying land but clearly will add a lot of interest in the coming days.Tve is taking it to their  southern clearwater this fall and others will follow.

We will see if hwx gives us more info next week when they report.There is no question they have been targeting this play with their land purchases.Both hwx and little sister lcx have been on a land grab with the most recent 32 well transfer from ipc ,to lcx not yet reported.The economics of the tier 1 wells as reported by lcx are right up their with the clearwater.If they are still buying land it
