.. nice to see that the volume is massively growing into this stock (with rising prices) - there are over 3 mio. shares SHORT out, so it is inevitable to see an imminent short squeeze if the upward pressure with gold is remaining.
With i-80 being a near term producer there is the best leverage to play the gold rise with this stock. Furthermore Sprott has an price target of 7,5 cad which will soon be upgraded to 8-10 cad with gold futher rising at this speed.

I'm not to sure I would read to much into that 3 million share short position as a potential short squeeze, I mean I hope it is. Judging by the amount of stock Orion has been selling of late this might them going short against warrants or something like that. With what they have invested in this company I'm sure thaw they would want to recoup some partial profits asap. Or quite possibly

volume is coming in... was average 200.000-300.000 and on friday over 800.000 - volume drives the price higher and the shorts are under heavy pressure... looks like gold will attack the highs very soon so further pressure for the squeeze to come. Maybe orion is not selling more with the new longterm perspective of Gold (hyperinflation, new iron curtain, stagflation risk...) Sprott will soon raise
