I thought that perhaps EQX might

want to buy IAUX  but now it appears they can't make the financing for such a deal...I doubt EQX will sale any shares of IAUX until IAUX is at much higher prices....so I do not see much 'overhang' until way higher prices of IAUX shares....IAUX appears on sale right now...the downside risk vs the upside is favorable to IAUX....jmho dyodd

It would not be in the interest of EQX to have to sale anywhere near these depressed prices...the recent sale of IAU shares was likely out of desperation...I doubt they wanted to sell any of their shares of IAU and that EQX likely sold the minimum to meet their financial needs....but then I am not privy to what is going on at EQX...

At these depressed prices it would be in the interest of IAU to buy EQX's shares of IAU but I seriously doubt EQX would sell the shares of IAU on the cheap....IAU has a lot of news forthcoming which imho is bullish and I am sure the larger miners are taking a serious look at taking over IAU....
