Please flesh out the idea that this is Paycore shareholders protecting their gain by shorting i-80. How do they benefit at receiving something that's priced lower when the exchange rate is fixed?

Speaking of 'making things up' Metalhead, why did you post 'Insiders are buying' when it had absoultley nothing to do with IAU which is what this board is all about. That was an extremley misleading post.

If you took my advice and bought Artemis you would have made money....seems that you could use all the help you can get and perhaps some here are grateful for my insight and tips

Yep...I'm just trading now....it moves too much too fast and too unpredictably so you have to be nimble

26% premium on the closing price of Feb 24th. Do the maths. If you want to lock in the exchange you short the underlying stock. Do you have a better explanation for the increase ?

And seeing as how Paycore are not voting on this deal until late April then we'll know by early May if my hypothesis is correct because at that time (once the deal is finalised) the shorts should cover with the shares they receive from IAU. In other words the shorts won't be buying back these shares in the open market. This happens all the time with takeovers/buyouts. Watch and wait.
