Ewen gives a great talk and presentation. I80 has a lot of stuff.  BUT....they are having issues with Granite Creek, have too many projects going, will need hundreds of millions of $, will take years to get any meaningful cash flow, and underground mining is almost always a losing proposition. They will be spending a fortune on Pre Feasibility, Feasiblity, Permitting, and drilling out the wazoo.

If you were to fast forward 5 years they might be a big player but 5 years is an eternity.  They are going to dilute the krap out of you as they rip through their cash on all this stuff they're doing.

Contrast I80 with Skeena or Artemis....Complicated "tricky" difficult and expensive mining years from now vs. big holes in the ground where they scoop up rock and make gold.

I don't want to follow I80 anymore. I don't do exploration companies and that's what this is for now. Add in the high short count, the EQX overhang....no thanks....my mining money is on Skeena and Artemis

Good bye all.

They've got 8 or 10 drills turning, permits in process, feasibility and resource studies, helicopters flying, engineering, new mine plan in bad rock with water coming in.  I've seen too many deep underground mines fail because ...more

The theme from yesterday's Investor Day is "Ultimate Optionality." The resources are there and will be increasing, will be brought to resource status end of this year, but you're quite correct about the staggering cash requirement to get into profitable production. They have the contracted authority to send 1750 tons per day to Nevada Gold Mines at Twin Creeks and they believe ...more

A guy on CEO.CA called Granite Creek a "science project"....they clearly have issues there.  I'm not at all interested in "optionality"....mines that have "issues" rarely end well
