Large jump in the POG today

June Gold at $2.348 up $26 on the day. IAU still fighting large sell volume, it never seems to end. Need a white knight or a black one with a sense of humour.

What is your cost and numbers of shares?
Comment by NineLives on May 09, 2024 5:33pm
42,000 shares all on offer at different prices so the shorters can't get them. The cost will have to remain my business. But let's just say I've been executing dollar cost averaging.

Almost forget to ask, what's yours ? Curious, because at one point I held more than most insiders had ever bought at the market, don't count options they're just freebies.

You are out of my league...I'm holding 4900 shares @1.67 cad

No worries, it's not who's got the biggest. We're only all here to make money and to help each other with information. I've been backing IAU for quite a while but you only have to look at the chart to see why jubilation has gone sideways. Good luck to you, I have no doubt you'll make a good return as will I. The property hasn't changed but management needs to adjust ...more

Take a guess at how many more 100s of millions will be required to fulfill the dream.  There will be 3/4 of a billion shares outstanding. They need more than 300 million just to refit the autoclave. They have NO feasibility studies...no one ever bothered with their junk because it's not oxide and its 2 miles under the surface of the earth.  You people chased a fantasy.  ...more

So why are you following this one  ?!? You make zero sense...

I bought at $1.60 US and sold at $3.  I now have a morbid curiostity as to how it all plays out. So I follow it and comment when I feel like it.  Would have paid to taken my advice this last year.

Ouch... 42,000 shares will leave a mark.. One or theee year charts aren't your friend.. if miners can't make money with these prices their in big trouble.

You have to take my current holdings iwithin context, having been a much larger invester when the shares rallied from $2.10 to $ 4 plus, so it's all very relative. Would I increase this current position again, yes if I see IAU moving in the right direction. Anyway enough of my holdings, next week as mentioned by the earlier poster could see the news released all together, whether it boosts ...more

Good post

They are all rentals not "investments"  Gold miners are THE WORST possible business it's possible to have except for brief moments in time.  Which is why I change my mind frequently and have made money with some of the worst dogs out there....because I know how to trade them instead of owning them and riding them down to next to nothing all the while hoping for a double ...more
