possibly making a bid for IAU down the road....just an educated guess...may or may not happen but makes a lot of sense imho dyodd

It would make sense for them to buy out I80. Perhaps the timing is not right at the moment. With IAU having cash in hand it would be better to see a JV if possible?  Lots of good opportunity both ways.

Exactly, the shorters keep the stock at a low 30 day avg then a big boy says  'we're making a generous offer, 30% above the trading average' everyone jumps on it due to fatigue and gets screwed in the process. Because it undervalues the total assets.  That's why it's crazy having a deflated stock price, especially these days with all the acquisitions taking place.

The scenario has been undervalued takeovers (Take unders) at a opportune time for many miners. It looks like that trend may continue.  Another day to wait for news.
