friends or foes

I-80 and McEwen Mining will soon become next door neighbours to the south of rubyhill complex. It amounts to quite a combination. Does anyone have a coment on this?

I have been searching but it's still a mystery as to who may be interested besides the Big Players. So far just guesses. As for MeEwen. Not enough cash flow. We reported consolidated cash and cash equivalents of $22.0 million, and consolidated working capital of $14.1 million as at March 31, 2024. (December 31, 2023 – $23.0 million and $22.7 million, respectively).  We'll see Tuesday ...more

Although McEwen has a very low share count, who knows, take a run for the whole thing with a percentage share transaction. Then hey presto their cash flow substantially increases. McEwens share price about 7 times higher than IAU !

The main reason why McEwen Mining's (MUX) share count is so low is because they completed a 1:10 share consolidation ("reverse split") about 2 years ago. MUX currently has around 50M shares outstanding, so you'd be looking at roughly 500M shares outstanding if this share consolidation had not occurred.   IAU has approximately 385M shares outstanding.   Market ...more
