It was supposed to be a done deal back in May, so it is now 3 months late.  Heaven forbid that we ask I-80 management to actually do some work during the summer though.

They never said it was a done deal....they said it was a complicated deal to get together...the interested party was/is paying for all the drilling

Amazing that so many of you still cling to this savior JV "deal"  Do you not realize that 1. There may not be any deal. 2. Any deal is definitely NOT going to favor I80 and 3. It wouldn't even move the needle for what I80 needs to get to any meaningful cash flow. The lower the stock goes the more dilution you are going to suffer. As a penny stock it's now more likely than

I believe it took ten months of negotiations for Iamgold to get a deal with Sumitomo mining. The terms were very favourable and hopefully IAU will get a similar J.V. deal. As long as they are still at the table and paying for their own due diligence then we can look for a positive outcome.
