dividend
I know some of you will not agree, but as a long time shareholder and with IBI's better balance sheet, a dividend would be appreciated. It would attract some demand, which is sadly missing, if they were to reward shareholders who do not divest of their shares. No reason why the company cannot do both. A small dividend to show the market they have confidence in the future and a NCIB to take advantage of any significant overhang depressing the share price.
Again there will be opposing views but I do not like to see the liquidity being reduced by aquiring public float shares for cancellation.

I would also like to see a dividend. I agree that the company can start and grow a dividend , definetely, a strong signal of confidence and will attract non investors with longer time horizon. Take a look at STN and WSP , they are growing and sustaining a dividend.

I agree 1000% that a dividend should be issued; i have being saying this for the past several years. I do note, on the positive side that daiy trade volumes are increasing, but there remains no strong interest in this stock. They now have all their ducks in a row for strong sustained growth that can support a dividend and attract some institutiinal investors

The fact that they are essentially at zero debt makes a dividend a hell of a good idea.....but as IBI also starts to accumulate cash and be so in leverage, they also become a significant take-out target. With an enviable balance sheet, the sky's the limit. The AGM is just a month away!

Calgary, I owe you! Your reasoned deliberations over the years have made me some real money. My entry into the equity was through the distressed debentures way back. This is now one of my largest individual equity holdings, and rebalancing makes no sense (cap gains etc). The debenture market is perilous! Fortress paper, Aleafia, Bellatrix all dogs. IBI has really done well!
