Massive sell-off but only these two

Hi guys,

 

I've been into IFP and CFP for some times now and they both usually follow the maket direction but also other major player in the lumber industry mostly WFG. IFP and CFP are down more than 10% from last week while wfg isnt that bad. What am i missing? Every article seems bullish still on them, price target is still in the 30's and the demande is fire high. What do you think?

If I know Baystreet, Interfor holders are selling cause they heard Interfor is buying Canfor, and Canfor holders are selling because they heard Canfor is buying Interfor....and lumber prices are crashing any day now.... Sometimes the markets are odd.

I'd heard there's a third player here.  It's Conifex, CFP and IFP -- and Ken is going to be the next CEO. Buckle up as he loves speculative finance, making excuses, and lavish exec comp! i also have it on good authority lumber is hitting $300 in the next day or two.  Some guy called Dr Zoidberg tweeted about it and has a chart with two lines from MS Paint to prove it

It was a good time to go in on Margin, and I've sold off the extra portion I bought on margin in the 23's.   I'll probably regret that, but I still have a significant position, don't like hanging out on too much margin too long, only in special circumstances.

The fundamentals remain intact. May futures at $950 USD, July futures at $840 USD. This company continues to print money anything north of $500. This stock behaviour, albeit bizarre, is just noise. I'm sitting tight.

Im w/ Johnny, lotta noise out there...even if housing prices cool off a bit.  People will see that as opportunity and there are allot of people hording cash from not travelling and being couped up. 3rd wave only means more remodeling, a acquisition is only thing that kinda makes sense with IFP & CFP. Buy hipefully at the floor and ride it to the ceiling as analyst have predicted!
