at market retreat they called for $1000 lumber by year's end. Bold prediction at the time but it seems we are there!

Indeed and much better than the average Q4 eps estimate of the 5 analysts on Yahoo Finance The estimate is for 88 cents.If price remains as high as they are right now,they will blow away this amounts. All good points. I suspect that by the time the new acquisition closes, it will be an all cash deal. Twice the size and fewer shares. At some point IFP will be rewarded with a higher multiple. Lumber up max again today yet lumber cos are down? A good day to buy IMO.

Yeak, limit up AGAIN  today(so far). You and i seem to be on the same page as to the valuation of IFP. I don't think IFP gets the credit on how this company as transformed itself over the past 2 years.And how well managed it is. The acquisitions they made were done at very reasonable or should i say very low prices. Much cheaper than greenfield.M.Fillinger latest one was done because ...more

They report once a month on the 10th. Two thing, either they are keeping the cash to buy back the EACOM acquisition without incuring any debt.  OR Something is going on.Are they in talk for a merger or acquisition with Canfor?
