Historically, when oil price are strong we see a direct correlation with the CDN$.
But this time it's different and i don't have the answer to that.
In 2008, when WTI was hitting all time high at $145 our CDN$ was at par with the US$
This time, with the WTI at $110+ our CDN$ is weak at .78.
This is very good news for CDN company having most of their sales in US$
IFP as more than 80% of it's sales in US$
In these uncertain times, you want to be invested in comapny that have pristine balance sheets,
highly profitable,and trading at low to reasonable multiples.
