A big US funds shareholders of IFP

I just hear this US funds managers(Cole Smead) talked about Cenovus on BNN.

They have 4 billions under management in their different funds.

He said that in their Smead international value fund, IFP is their 4th biggest holding(6.73%)
and WestFraser, their 5th(6.19%).

He talked about how much accretive the NCIB and the SIB are for the lumber company.

Just watchted this guy too. He was well-spoken. He made the case that lumber is a levered bet on US housing, which I totally agree with. He noted that US housing bulls haven't even thought about lumber yet and he's right. It's tough though when you have home builders trading at 4x earnings. I'd add that lumber is also a bet on dwindling supply and producer discipline. Anyway, it ...more

Nice find.I am heartened when value funds like thishave large positions. Also Aegis has IFP, RFP, and WFG in their top 10 holdings.  WFG is new so not on this fact sheet. https://www.aegisfunds.com/assets/pdfs/aegis.factsheet.pdf
