Excellent news release!

Mount Polley - the latest news release states that: "With all the mills operational the plant is nearing historic throughput highs and achieving better availability while maintaining strong copper and gold recoveries". 2024 copper and gold production guidance is reasonably close to what Mount Polley was achieving in 2013 before the tailing breach disaster in 2014. This is excellent!

We should soon get the latest news of the Red Chris mineral resource update and block cave Feasibility Study after Newmont/Newcrest are ready to publish - should be soon.

Whats the cash cost per pound? Production is one thing, but expenses another. They better be making money, not just treading water.

Good point McDuck. In Q1 2014 copper production was 8,216K and the cash cost per lb was Cdn$1.56 or US$1.41. In Q3 2023, production was 8,057K and the cash cost per lb was Cdn$2.33 or US$1.74. With the copper price currently at about US$3.75, Mount Polley is doing just fine.

i appreciate that. income statement will be interesting. what did they borrow that convertible debt at? 10% maybe. A bull run in copper is now the catalyst we need.
