Interesting that in contrast to AT and despite the NASDAQ having another rough day, TTD was up almost $25 or 3.8% on 2.5M volume. So that's an 11% spread between the two SPs. Sure makes you wonder what kind of games are going on behind the scenes. GLTA

Is TTD going to be making an offer to buyout AT soon?  Seems to be a lot of SP manipulation going on. GLTA

TTD buying out AT? Highly unlikely as TTD I'm sure does not see them as a threat just yet and valuation wise most likely will not be attractive to them. If growth continues to get sold off and smaller cap growth stocks like AT are sold with the bathwater then I think TTD (or even a PE group consolidating a few complimentary ad tech names) could be be interested. The better question is why

If Illumin does become the standard in programmatic advertising then a larger player such as The Trade Desk  could consider buying them out. I wouldn't even be surprised if Google is a possible suitor although it currently appears they are not interested in this space.  I believe Illumin will become the new standard. Reason for my thinking? Almost everything in our daily lives is

I don't think that potential suitors will wait fit illumin to become the standard. For that and the reasons you mention.IMO it is more likely than not that someone makes a play for AT before Q3/22

A threat? I would think that TTD would look at AT as a great opportunity. Why would AT sell? It all depends on the price, and give the huge disparity in multiples, TTD likely could make an offer that both companies shareholders would view as attractive.

  I'm long on both but I want to point out TTD did get a price upgrade today to 850 usd I can't remember who from.. that probably had at least a little to do with it.
