Just wondering
if anyone has looked into Trading Desk`s new platform? I believe the woman that asked the question on the conference call, called it Salina, not sure. Just wondering if it is anywhere close to Acuity`s Illumin. Tal said Illumin took 4 years to develope and they are on their 6th version of it. Hopefully they are not as advanced as we are. I never did see a news release on their website and I didn`t read of it anywhere else. And something else, why would shorts gamble on a stock with a financial report as great as Acuity`s was with Nasdaq soon on the way, and Illumin about to explode? To me it doesn`t make sense why they would still be short?

Tal did briefly address the new platform, he said he is very confident in where Illumin is and touched on A) how long it took to develop and B) the depth in which their own AI is tied into and improves the platform. Pretty much said you can't just purchase or duplicate point B. He thinks that they are leaps and bounds ahead of the competitors.

I think if they're trying to copy Illum they obviously see it as a serious threat. You have to expect companies to try to replicate it if it's a game changer. I think Acuity will benefit from its first mover status and for all you know we're a takeout target right now. GLTA!
